  • Develop and deploy machine learning models for clinical and scientific applications
  • Conduct and support data acquisition in psychophysics, eye-tracking, and related experiments
  • Write and publish scientific manuscripts and contribute to grant proposals
  • Organize research community events and support teaching activities
  • Collaborate with clinicians and biologists in ongoing studies

  • Background in AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Cognitive Science or related fields
  • Strong research and programming skills (Python, data analysis, machine learning)
  • Experience with software development, MLOps or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary environments
  • Self-motivated, organized and eager to engage in both technical and scientific work

The “Hertie Institute for AI in Brain Health” (Hertie AI) at the Faculty of Medicine of the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen is funded by the Gemeinnützige Hertie Stiftung to develop AI algorithms, which detect diseases of the nervous system earlier and treat them better.
