With its non-clinical facilities as well as its research and teaching area corresponding to the organisational units of the University Hospital, it is one of the largest medical training and research institutions in Baden-Württemberg.

At the Lab of Translational Microbiome Research, we study the complex interactions between the mammalian host, the immune system, and the microbiome in both clinical and preclinical contexts. We are offering a position in data science as part of a collaborative research project examining the role of the microbiome in cancer development and therapy.
