With around 10,600 employees, it is the largest employer in the region. The quality of patient care is certified with the KTQ seal of approval.

The CCU Translational Immunology, headed by Prof. Dr. Helmut Salih, focuses on research in the field of tumor immunology with the ultimate goal to develop novel immunotherapeutic strategies until the stage of clinical evaluation. Current projects focus on the development and preclinical characterization of novel advanced antibody constructs for the treatment of malignancies, with an emphasis on mobilization of T cells.
